Here we find ourselves at the end of 2021 already! Despite the continuing unusual circumstances, we are so pleased to be able to keep designing, manufacturing and supplying bespoke cast stone throughout the UK as safely as possible.
We’ve had a lot of highlights that we are excited to share with you as we head into 2022. Take a look at some of our 2021 best bits:
So what did we achieve in 2021?
Team Expansions
We’ve continued to expand our workforce so we can continue to meet the demand in our cast stone products. We are proud to say that our experienced sales team has increased by 100% throughout the year.
In our Estimating Department, we were happy to welcome Gareth Williams and Wayne Porter. Both have helped to strengthen our Precast/GRC team and allowed us to provide more initial estimates to meet customer demand.
Product Updates
Our Premium Sample Colours range now includes 3 new colours:
- Black
- Anthracite
- Mid Grey
We hope you like them as much as we do here at Amber Valley Stone, they’ve proven quite popular so far. We look forward to continuing to manufacture these colour options through 2022.
Equipment Upgrades
We have continued to invest in our facilities with a more efficient semi-dry cast stone mixer now on order (due Q1 2022). Taking only 3 minutes to automatically clean and allowing us to produce an additional 2 mixes per day, this will mean we can continue producing quality products and speed up our production.
Achievements
Amber Valley Stone are now proud members of the UK Cast Stone Association (UKCSA). The Association carefully vet all their members to ensure that they conform to the highest performance standards. This adds assurance to our customers that we continue to provide the very best products and quality services.
Another exciting development was that we were highly commended in the “Excellence in the Use of Cast Stone” UKCSA 2021 Awards, for our transformation of a former police HQ in Cheltenham. You can see this transformation here.
