£26m refurbishment of The Belfry Hotel and Resort

Case Studies News

Home of the Ryder Cup, The Belfry Hotel and Resort in the West Midlands is a world-renowned venue for both professional and amateur golfers. With luxurious leisure facilities spread over 500 acres, an extensive renovation was needed to enhance guest experience and to maintain its prestigious reputation.

In 2014, a £26 million refurbishment of The Belfry was undertaken. The project involved extensive renovations to the resort’s bedrooms, function rooms, restaurant, bar, fascia and external surroundings.

For a transformation of this scale and status, main contractors Shaylor Group Plc. appointed Amber Valley Stone due to our ability to deliver high quality, bespoke cast stone whilst providing project management support throughout.
